Welcome to the world of Owen Beckford, fine artist; in which you will find it difficult to come away with your emotions unaffected. For almost three decades, Beckford has been making an effort through his work to harness such virtues as Love, Peace, Mercy, Family and Forgiveness, and to transfer these same energies to those that view his work.

Born February 22, 1958 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Beckford attended the Calabar High School and late the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Beckford has had several solo shows both locally and internationally and has won two gold and two silver medals for painting and sculpting in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's competition.
