Richard Nattoo (b. 1993, Spanish Town, Jamaica) studied Architecture at the University of Technology, Jamaica, where his growing fascination with the visual arts inspired him to pursue a full-time career as an artist. Working primarily in watercolour, pen, and ink on canvas, Nattoo's distinctive practice is marked by his use of water sourced from natural environments, imbuing his works with both material and symbolic connections to landscape and place.

Over the years, he has participated in numerous premier exhibitions at the National Gallery of Jamaica, alongside solo and group exhibitions internationally, including The Passage Between Worlds with Eclectica Contemporary in Cape Town (2025) and Seein' Sperrit with Tern Gallery in The Bahamas (2025). In 2025, Nattoo was featured in Curator's Eye at The Olympia Gallery and presented Bound Waters – Confluence (27 February–17 March 2025), a two-person exhibition with Roisin Jones at the Olympia Mini Gallery, curated by Ségolène Py.

Nattoo is the recipient of the 2020 Prime Minister's Youth Award for Excellence in the category of Arts and Culture. His work Moonlight Meditations of Mama Nanny was installed at the Institute of Jamaica in 2022. In 2025, his painting River Mumma II was acquired by the International African American Museum, and in 2026, The Magician's Arrival entered the Scotiabank Collection, further cementing his position as one of Jamaica's leading contemporary artists.
